#LaLaLAND Pt 2- Palm Springs

Palm Springs has been on my list for a while! Originally I thought of going to Coachella this year, but then opted for something more chill during my birthday week, which happened to be right before 'Cella craziness would hit the valley.

We drove from LA to Palm Springs in a comfy ~2.5 ride with the sun shinin' down and the weather just being perfect at 75F.

Palm Springs is known for its eclectic vibe and art house deco inspired buildings. Since I was also in Birthday mode, I did want some good music and a lot of people. We stayed at The Saguaro, which is a colorful, 60s inspired hotel with the most Instagrammable pool and tons of art!

P.S - I suggest booking exclusively with The Saguaro instead of going via third party travel websites. The tie ups are kinda sketchy and room assignments are not guaranteed by the hotel even with a fully legit booking.

Eat: Cheeky's, for the best California inspired menu that changes according to the season. The annoying queue is worth the wait. Pesto fries anyone?

Striped Jumpsuit, Necessary Clothing

Ah the famous Pink Door! This has a "Paul Smith Wall" kinda frenzy about it. I bet the owner must be watching people from the outside taking pictures in front of his/her pink door and laughing!

Walk: Around Palm Canyon drown with its bustling restaurants and shops. All the eating places here have a crazy wait time but do not fret, all worth it in the end!

I'd definitely recommend going to Palm Springs at-least once! Its opulence at its best right in the middle of the desert with some great R&R spots.

Next stop.....Laguna Beach!
